I was having dinner at a restaurant when Tony Steele came in.Tony worked in a lawyer's office years age,but he is now working at a bank.He gets a good salary,but he always borrows money from his friends and never pays it back.Tony saw me and came and sat at the same table.He has never borrowed money from me.While he was eating,I asked him to lend me twenty pounds.To my surprise,he gave me the money immediately.'I have never borrowed any money from you,' Tony said,'so now you can pay for my dinner!

这篇文章也是从4W出发,Who:出场人物是“我”还有Tony Steel,同时还介绍了Tony的一些情况,比如他的工作(以前在律师所工作,现在在银行工作,是位薪水还不错的人)还有他的性格(总是习惯跟朋友借钱,但是又不还,这点还是非常让人讨厌的)。Where:故事发生在一家餐厅。When:时间是在晚餐时间。What:当时我在吃晚餐,Tony看到了我就走了过来跟我坐在同张桌子上。我想我从来没跟他借过钱,这次就跟他借下吧,谁知道我以开口Tony居然非常爽快的就把钱借给了我,不过他的下句话却让我很无语,他说:“我还从未向你借过钱,所以现在你可以替我付饭钱了!”真是让人苦笑不得。在Tony看来,把钱借给了作者算是做了一件好事(do a good turn),所以作者也应该礼尚往来,帮他把付了这顿饭钱。至于“我”,本来想跟Tony开个玩笑,谁知道却被愚弄了一番。哈哈哈,总之,这种朋友还是少交往的好。
