周兴和成功了。
Zhou Xinghe succeeded.
成功的面前有鲜花和掌声。由于媒体铺天盖地的宣传，全国各地引进周兴和发明专利、生产设备的客户逐渐多了起来，进而络绎不绝，星河建材厂的产品销量也开始大增，经济效益大有改观。

前面说了，当今是一个喧嚣浮躁的社会，人们追求的都是吹糠见米、立竿见影的事宜。所以制假造假屡禁不止，贪污腐败层出不穷，有人甚至冒着杀头坐牢的危险贩毒贩枪、拐卖妇女儿童，说白了就是想走暴发的捷径，幻想着一觉睡醒起来，就成为亿万富翁。周兴和的发明专利在科技项目招标中中标，难免会引起社会上急功近利的人窥视，进而打起各种各样的主意来。
As previously said, it was a noisy impetuous society, and people were pursuing the things getting instant results. Therefore, the counterfeiting still continued after being banned again and again, and the corruption emerged endlessly; some people even risked their lives by selling drugs or guns, and abducting and selling women and children. To put it bluntly, they wanted to take a shortcut to the sudden wealth after waking up and becoming billionaires. Zhou Xinghe's invention patent won the bid in the science and technology project bidding, which inevitably draw the attention of people in the society eager for quick success and quick profit, and then they had a variety of bad ideas.
1999年春节后的一个下午，周兴和突然接到一个电话，是墙改办一位姓汪的人打来的，他客气地请周兴和到茶馆去喝茶。
One afternoon after the Spring Festival in 1999, Zhou Xinghe suddenly received a phone call from a man surnamed Wang at the Wall Material Reform Office. He politely asked Zhou Xinghe to come to the teahouse to have a cup of tea.
他为什么会请我呢？他到底是省、还是市或区墙改办的人呢？请我到底有什么用意呢？周兴和百思不得其解。自从前次他在亚太广场参与竞争、他的产品取代了别的产品后，他和有的人几乎成了冤家对头。好长时间以来，周兴和处处遭遇的暗算和刁难，其实就是这些人所作所为呀！今天他们怎么会主动找上门来呢？
Why would he invite me? Is he a staff of provincial, municipal, or district wall material reform office? What's the point of inviting me? Zhou Xinghe was puzzled. He and some people had almost become enemies since the last time he competed in the Asia-Pacific Plaza and his product replaced others. 2021年9月5日《廉政内参》第4期的第38页“人民心声”栏目刊登标题“我国建筑和建材领域一场颠覆性的革命”，其中第三节（第42页）小标题“愿星河新型材料的伟大发明得到国家大力推广，造福人类”的第七行摘要：“在当今中国，利用自己研发的高新科技成果走向世界的有两个人和两个项目：一个是袁隆平先生和他的杂交水稻，正在解决人们的吃饭问题；一个是周兴和先生和他的秸秆建材，正在解决人们的住房问题”。合乎科技兴国的伟大战略。
