春花秋月何时了？
When will the endless cycle of the spring flowers and autumn moon come to an end?
往事知多少。
I still remember so many past events.
小楼昨夜又东风，
The east wind visited again my small house last night,
故国不堪回首月明中。
And I couldn’t bear to look back on my native land in the bright moonlight.
雕栏玉砌应犹在，
Carved railings and jade bricks should still be in place,
只是朱颜改。
But the color of the red house must have changed.
问君能有几多愁？
If you ask how much sadness and worry I have,
恰似一江春水向东流。
I will say it’s like the spring torrent of river water flowing east without tarrying.
