Christina :How to make learning English more amusing ?
王菲菲：如何让英语学习变得有趣（15'）
？ First, i'm very glad to give a talk about this topic.
Before I give my talk, I usually ask myself this question why I have still this insisted on learning english？ And the answer is lady there something different happen in my future because of my learning. Well, Another question is Have you ever tried your best to achieve the goal? The answer is definitely no. As for the reason, I think there are plenty of.
For example, the first is I don't have enough time, enough spare time.
Or maybe like this. I am satisfied with the recent situationSo I don't need to learn english like a college student.
Or just like this. I don't know how to. I don't have a practical Training plan to follow.
I don't know whether any of you have ever fall into these Emotional traps？
Ok next I will give you some of my thought
about how to make it more amusing？Maybe it can releave you from the boring learing ？
The first is why why I want to make learn english more amusing, more interest. I'm reading a book How to learn? I know that our brain is inclined to or prefer to grab something interesting。It hates repeating boring information. I'll give you some example. When you try to recite a paragraph again and again or do some a text exercises more and more and your brain are getting exhausted and this action will decrease the degree of excitement of our brain。
Another important concept for learning is Deliberate practice. I think many of us have heard about it. Even the experts say that we if we can insist on something for about four more than ten thousand hours. Then we can become and expect expert in that field. But in my mind, How you do it is more important than how Much time you have spent on it.
Well I I shall say that when we learn english, we need a schedule. And we need to make a plan for how much time we spend on it every day. And also deliberate practice it's not just do it without thinking.
But why? During our university time, many many students I have done everything they can in order to pass the CET4.but to the opposite of their expectation they failed again and again. This is because of brain likes things interesting not boring information without any connection.
So how to make our langguge learning more ausing？ I think It is to add more links To english as you can. Be more sensitive to everything around us. Try all different kinds of training method to find which one is suitable for you. Well there is a Rule。 If you find the Process is Too boring to keep on. Give it away.
As for me, if I want to enhance my input, I choose to practice you there application influencing english, which is the up on my smart phone. I have used for would one year. From which either and about the Into nation and A lot of special expression, a native expression. Not at all is reading. From about one months ago, I started to read Novel book. It's just like the comprehension Just that we all meet in the english examination. I think the routine is you read it, and you answer the related questions. And then you can figure out What does the story tell you? It will be the best. If you can speak in your own language Which is more easy to understand by others. Actually here exist a complex concept called fame um skill. Which means you can Use. Relatively easy language to describe a a concept indicate that you have understand it. And you can even use it.
Another is output. Try to find every chance at a chat with others in english. If you have a foreign friends or you are rich enough to um to have a foreign teacher or tutor. And then you can practice with them. But for me, the tuition for the tutor is higher than I can afford. So mum I wonder if they're can the a chatting room during the our group. It'll be perfect for me.
