很多年前，有份报纸刊登了一篇文章，讲一位世界富豪的故事。富豪有个儿子在上大学，专业是人类学，他去新几内亚做项目研究食人族，想写本关于食人族的书来获取博士学位。
在他为自己的研究做完采访、拍照之后，乘坐一条小船返回他的船上。就在回船途中，那条小船沉了。由于找不到其他求生方法，他游回了海岛上。之后再也没有人见过他的踪迹。
这位富豪派他的助理与警察寻遍了整座岛屿找他的儿子。后来，他们发现他儿子的研究对象——食人族——把他儿子吃掉了。这个人悲痛欲绝，在接受多家报纸采访时，他说，“我拥有数亿美元的钱财，有对政府、社会和银行的权力和影响力，拥有一切名誉和健康，却再也找不到人生的幸福时刻，因为我的儿子被杀了。”
这世间的所有幸福都是短暂的。
Many years back there was a newspaper article about one of the wealthiest men in the world. He had a college-going son, who was studying anthropology. He went on a project to a place in New Guinea to study man-eating cannibals. He wanted to write a book on these people and get his PHD.
After doing interviews and taking photos for his research, he was returning back to his ship on a little boat. As he was on his way to the ship, the little boat began to sink. Finding no other way to survive, he swam across to the island. Nobody was able to trace him after that.
This rich man sent his assistants and police all over the island to look for his son, and they found that the object of the son's studies, the man-eating cannibals, ate him away. This man was devastated. On being interviewed by several newspaper he said: "With all my hundreds of millions dollars, with all my power and influence over governments, societies and banks, with all my fame and my good health, I will never be able to find a moment of happiness in my entire life, because my son has been killed."
All the happiness of this world is temporary.
