跟读内容：跟读的是C19 Test2 Part4的第1句-第5句。

跟读心得日记：
1、今天跟读一上来第一句就有两个陌生单词，后面的句子也生词比较多，所以跟读的比较慢，一个小时只跟读了5句。
For my project on invertebrates, I chose to study tardigrades.（C19 Test2 Part4 第1句）
这句话当中，invertebrates和tardigrads都是我第一次听到和看到，查了字典，发现invertebrate是指无脊椎动物，然后又搜索了一下脊椎动物的英文，发现就是去掉in。所以今天一下子就学会了两个动物门类的单词：
vertebrate 脊椎动物
invertebrate 无脊椎动物
然后tardigrade指的是慢行动物，就是行走很缓慢的动物。这个词其实是由tard+grade两个词组合而成，英文tardy本身就是迟到的，行动迟缓的意思。而grade就是表示级别，品级的意思。行动迟缓的那个级别的动物就是tardigrade。
2、These are microscopic, or to be more precise, near-microscopic animals.（C19 Test2 Part4 第2句）
今天跟读这句，学到了to be more precise这个短语，表示更准确的说，其实这种类似结构，我以前比较熟悉的是 to be more specific, to be more exact.
3、There are well over a thousand known species of these tiny animals, which belong to the phylum Tardigrada.（C19 Test2 Part4 第3句）
这句跟读的时候，总体意思是比较容易听懂的。但细节上有两个地方花费了很多遍时间。一个是well over，我是第一次看到这个固定组合，well over 表示远远超过，而且是连读在一起。另外一个就是phylum，这个单词非常陌生，查了字典，发现是指生物分类种的门，而字典中也附带给出了生物分类中的门纲目科属种的所有英文单词。
门（phylum）、纲(class)、目(order)、科(family)、属(genus)、种(species)
4、They are also sometimes called water bears: water because that's where they thrive best, and bear because of the way they move.（C19 Test2 Part4 第5句）
今天跟读这句话，再次让我感觉到，英文的口语其实是非常灵活的，很多时候表达方式与我们汉语很类似。如果拘泥于正规语法，上面这句话怎么都说不通的，但在口语中，没有任何问题。
