5月22日，有幸授吾徒高中英语选择性必修三第8单元（Literature）（北师大版教材），恰逢美国诗人罗伯特•弗罗斯特之英文诗 "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening"，遍览各版本中语译文，甚感末尽其意。遂试译之，力有不逮，聊以尽兴耳！
《晚雪》
天暝林深远层峦，湖舍渺渺隐林间。
日暮策马林前停，雪深无人晓客来。
白马裹足惊无村，主人遥看小屋白。
寒林幽幽无鸟踪，冰湖凛凛不来船。
凌寒逡巡欲何往？座马惴惴疑不前。
北风忽来马铃惊，风吹雪飞林愈暗。
前路云山知何似？矢志远行不茫然。
人生难得此风雪，料峭行吟亦遣怀。

Whose woods these are I think I know．
His house is in the village though；
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow．
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year．
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake．
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake．
The woods are lovely，dark，and deep．
But I have promises to keep，
And miles to go before I sleep，
