前几天刚刚关注到一些英语名词当动词用的有趣现象，这几天在阅读中又频频撞见，是可喜的巧合，还是可悲的孤陋寡闻？管它是喜是悲，兔子自己撞到树干上来，就权当是自己的战利品了：
1. Soldier（士兵）：
In the hope of appearing like a conscientious chef prepared for all things culinary, I soldiered on.
（我希望摆出一副成竹在胸准备在烹饪上露一手的大厨的样子，就硬挺着坚持下去。）
Eyeball（眼球）：
“It's like two bullies with money,”Simone said, eyeballing Shelly.

3. Spoon（汤勺）：
She was spooning her elephant trainer in front of her.
（她从背后紧抱住坐在前面的驯象师。）
