1. the sheer size(某物)之重/之大等〔用于强调〕
○ used to emphasize that something is very heavy, large, etc.
○ e.g. The sheer size of the country makes communications difficult. 该国幅员辽阔,造成了通信的困难。
2. line of code 代码行 i.e. 20 million lines of code 两千万行代码
3. behemoth /bəˈhiːmɒθ/ n. 庞然大物
○ something that is very large
○ e.g. a trade behemoth that shipped abroad $800 billion worth of goods 向国外运输了价值8,000亿美元货物的贸易巨头
4. geek (geeks) /ɡiːk/ n. 落伍的人,怪人 geeky adj. 对...着迷的
○ someone who is not popular because they wear unfashionable clothes, do not know how to behave in social situations, or do strange things
