Notwithstanding familiarity and connection with UK universities since I stumbled into the sector of internationalisation of higher education 8 years ago, never had I imagined that I could study in the UK. However, my destiny changed last year thanks to a 11-month English learning programme in the University of Liverpool. In retrospect, it was not only a life-changing opportunityof improving English, but also a journey of rediscovering myself and exploringthe world. The moment I set feet on campus of the University of Liverpool, I realizedthat I began traveling from words to the world.
