Although having been the new president for a month, Joe Biden still can’t get rid of the influence made by former President Donald Trump. Trump continues to catch the media attention with his second impeachment acquittal and the GOP infighting around him. Except for the problems mentioned above, Trump also faces investigations about his business dealings, inquiries about election fraud and a lawsuit charging him. Biden may feel happy to let Trump grab the headlines because he gets opportunities to reverse 19 Trump-era executive actions and issue 32 others. But he is bound to take back the spotlight because he needs the public’s support to move on his agenda, like fighting climate change and raising racial equality.
