Mr. Knightley is about at his forties – a middle-aged man at his time. Not young as he is, he is at the peak of charm despite his receding hairline and wrinkles on his forehead.
He looks spiritual with clean hair and placid by his facial expression. This is a finely-cut face which can be told by the straight nose and the chiseled jaw. He seems curious about something but not in an exaggerated way since his eyebrows are rising a little bit- a good explanation of his quality of calm. Two vertica lwrinkles from both sides of his nose down to the mouth stress his another quality-firmness and persistence.
Mr. Knightley could be a candidate gentlemanof his time. The style of his dark green velvet coat and white scarf tied inthen popular way together with the way he sits demonstrates what a gentlemanshould be like in appearance in early 1800’s.
