体系架构（Enterprise Architecture, EA）的开山之作，之前一直引用，从来没有系统的学习，通过翻译加深理解，与感兴趣的朋友一起学习探讨。建房子、造飞机，是不是已经忘了这是一篇写信息系统的文章，在进行通用性总结后，作者正视类比出信息系统架构。这种其他领域类比引出思路，在信息系统方案包装上也是一种很好的技巧。翻译中自己理解的东西加的比较多，不对的地方大家多多指正。
通过对构建复杂工程项目的过程中，涉及架构描述(包括所有者视角、设计师视角、建造者视角等)进行罗列和对比。信息系统作为同样的“复杂工程项目”，也有同样的架构描述体系。表2对照建筑、飞机系统，类比列出信息系统对应的架构描述。
